The Nutri-Dermis Cylinder series explores the possibilities of transforming food elements and biomaterials into lighting objects. By translating the natural colours (beetroot and turmeric, more upcoming…) into a translucent bioleather, the gentle glow diffused through the organic textures seamlessly blends natural elements with a modern design language.
Kitchen-Sourced Natural Colours
The main ingredients for making the bioleather sheet are derived from natural pigments easily found in everyday kitchens, bringing vibrant, organic hues to the collection. Ingredients like beetroot and turmeric are featured in the current design, offering deep red and warm golden tones, with plans to expand the natural colour palette further.
Simple, Modular, Personalised
By relying on simple, essential structural elements and avoiding unnecessary complexity, the design focuses entirely on highlighting the organic beauty and raw texture of natural bioleather.
Modular Flexibility: The diameter and height can be custom-tailored to suit different needs.
Versatile Styling: Users can effortlessly swap and reconfigure different bioleather sheets and base combinations to match varying contexts, moods, or spaces.

Every bioleather sheet in the Nutri-Dermis Cylinder series is handcrafted using natural ingredients and sun-dried. Because of the organic curing process, every single piece possesses unique textures, tones, and patterns—much like every living element found in nature.
